Does not return calls, messages or abide by posted hours. I had to get the corporate office involved to schedule a phone meeting, for which this office was still a no-show. This was an awful customer experience.

I recently called today 8/13/2020 to obtain a summary of my taxes. A very sassy (rude) woman explained that I can pay $25 or call the IRS for a summary of my taxes. I paid H and R block $400 never saw the summary and they never provided any copy. Their portal asked my older siblings date or birth to confirm my identity, this person doesn’t exist. I’ve been attempting to obtain this since the tax deadline when I paid them to send it through. This company has been down right mean and hostile to mean about this. Hanging up on me when I ask for supervisors and proceeding to screen my calls. I haven’t had to chance to give them a reason to treat me so bad because they are so unconcerned and nonresponsive. So they just don’t care about anyone it’s not even personal. Sent me to closed locations to pick up the summary at one point, I was almost robbed by the homeless guy sleeping at the door. Do NOT use them. Borderline evil.

I’ve had nothing but terrible “services” with this group whenever I’m finally able to actually get ahold of them. Please use any other tax specialist you can find or afford. Any appointment I’ve tried to make takes me about 40 minutes just to book only for my timeslot to be moved without a call to check with me if the new timeslot works with my schedule. Once I finally have a confirmed appointment (after another 40 min wait to book), no one actually even gets in touch with me or reaches out. In my frustration to even talk to any of these specialists, no one even picks up the office phone. I’ve been receiving concerning notices from the IRS based on the returns filed by them, and I can’t get any help from or advise from or even a conversation with this team. For the price they’re asking for this service, this process has been ridiculous to say the least.

The main door is a little hard to find between other businesses and takes you immediately to a stairway down to the basement which is where their offices are located.

Disappointed with the extreme lack of professionalism at this location. The person who filed our taxes made a mistake on one of the returns. I have been unable to get any response or assistance from H&R Block. Calls to the office are hung up on, emails unanswered, etc. The woman who was supposed to fix the problem and amend the return promised it would be done weeks ago and has now simply stopped responding. H&R Block: your canned response to negative reviews saying to dial a 1-800 number does not count as adequate customer service.
