Seems to be a common theme, if there was a zero option, I would give it. -Multiple agents I spoke to, all of which told me, they would get me an "immediate response," to which I always had to call back to speak to another agent, to get the same response, with no answers. I filed my my tax claim on a Wednesday, was told I would get a phone call the following day (never happened) after my return was reviewed. I called Friday (2 days later) and was told I would receive an email that day to file our taxes (never happened). I called the following Monday. I was told I would receive an email to file our federal return (an email that was never received) and was pending a review of our state return to which I would receive an answer by Wednesday. Late Wednesday, I called again, to which I spoke to at least 2 different agents, all of which took messages and told me someone would call me back "immediately." I was never called back. I called back Friday. Spoke to 3 different agents. All of which told me no messages had been officially filed in their system regarding my case, or apologized and told me they were get me an answer "immediately" and call back (I never received any return phone calls). One gentleman told me late Friday, he was personally taking care of it and would get me an answer, another employee I never heard back from. Going into the 2nd week, having not received an email or returned phone call after at least half a dozen messages taken by employees, I am still pending a federal and state return with very little support or information from the H&R Block team regarding my return. This is unfortunate as their team was helpful last year in assisting me with an amended return. Go somewhere else. The customer service is misleading as they will all apologize and then tell you they will get you an answer "immediately" to which you will ultimately have to call back on your own to once again restart the process to try to get someone to speak to regarding your case. The quoted price for my return is $300 dollars for a continuous lack of follow-up or information by the agents.

If I could give 0, I would. I submitted my taxes to Kim a couple weeks ago. I reached out the following day after submitting them online checking to see that she received them as I was going on vacation and would not be in the area. She stated that she received them. I followed up again on April 15th Via H&R blocks messenger with no response. Trying to be understanding of the closeness to tax day and understanding how busy they likely were, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I called Tuesday April 18th upon opening where Kim told me she was busy with another client. I understood and said she could call me back. I heard nothing by lunch time and called again, this time being told by a coworker that Kim was busy. I STILL didn’t hear anything by 6pm. I called at 6 and spoke to Kim and all she said was “well I’m still here working.” I asked her if she would be getting my taxes done because I submitted them almost two weeks ago. She told me i could submit an extension. I explained that i should not have to do that as my taxes were submitted to her in a timely manner and I would be at work until 11 and would not have access to a computer to file an extension. Carelessly she said “I’ll see what I can do I’ll call you if i can get them done” and hung up. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. SHE NEVER DID MY TAXES. I specifically submitted my taxes to them due to the needs of my tax paperwork - I’m not a tax professional. How unprofessional and rude to blatantly disregard your obligations. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism when it involves something as serious as the IRS. I would never post a negative review unless I thought necessary and I think this one is. Protect yourselves and I hope she never does this to anyone else ever again and don’t go to H&R Block.

Fraud company. Over charging and not honest at all. Do not use H&R Block. Go somewhere else.

Syed Dara was very unprofessional. I had 3 w2s, and the companies are located in 3 different states, Syed put 3 states and when I asked him to change that to two because it will lower the filling price, he got mad and started yelling. I respectfully asked him to lower his voice and to do whatever he wants... He was super slow too. I had to cancel my appointment with him. I don't recommend this place.

My taxes were filled incorrectly (at a different h&r block) but thankfully we did the protection plan. There was an error that left us owing the government over 2k plus penalties and interest. Having moved I dropped off paperwork to this location instead over 3 weeks ago. The lady that helped me had no idea what I was talking about (should have taken a clue here) but said she would scan my documents and hand it off to her manager and that I would get a call by that afternoon. It has been over 3 weeks now! I have never heard back from them and have since called to follow up 3 or 4 times myself. They are always very apologetic and promise to get to the bottom of it and call me back that day. Radio silence. Wasted $$$ on a protection plan when you can't even get a call back. I will be complaining to corporate as well.
